The Memory Makers

Do you love making memories with your grandchildren?

Taking your grandchildren to the theatre and sharing stories is one of life's greatest joys. As grandparents, you understand the magic of storytelling – a gift of wonder, creativity and connection.

By joining the Memory Makers, you’ll help bring that magic to young people who are missing out. Your support ensures more young people, no matter their circumstances, can experience the joy of theatre and the power of stories.

Professor Judith McLean

The Memory Makers group is led by Professor Judith McLean, Monkey Baa’s Chair, a fierce advocate for arts and education, and a proud grandmother of four.

Judith’s grandchildren – Grace, Saoirse, Francesca and Teddy – are her inspiration and motivation for making the arts accessible to all young people.

Judith invites other grandparents to join her in this mission, helping to nurture a love for theatre in young people.

As a grandmother, I cherish creating memories with my grandchildren – from telling stories to watching their faces light up at the theatre. ”
