Possum Magic

Bring Mem Fox’s beloved story to life through drama and imaginative play.

In this magical workshop, students will embark on an adventure inspired by the classic Australian children’s book Possum Magic. Guided by our expert Teaching Artists, students will explore the whimsical journey of Hush and Grandma Poss as they discover the secret to making Hush visible again.

Through hands-on drama activities, students will develop storytelling skills, experiment with role-play, and create their own interpretations of the story’s characters and events. This workshop encourages creativity, collaboration, and a deeper connection to Australian literature.

Each one-hour session is tailored to students from Early Learning to Year 2, with content adjusted to suit their age and needs. Workshops can accommodate up to 30 students at $15 + GST per student, with a minimum charge of $300.
