Monkey Baa and Your Library partner to bring live theatre to more young people across Victoria
We’re excited to announce a new partnership with Your Library, creating more opportunities for young people and families across Victoria, and beyond, to experience live theatre. Through our social impact initiative, Theatre Unlimited, we’re removing barriers and increasing access by offering free tickets and transport to families who need it most. All young people deserve the chance to experience high-quality, professional theatre, and we’re making sure more young people across Victoria have a front-row seat to creativity.
Kevin du Preez, Executive Director, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration:

Monkey Baa and Your Library jointly announced the partnership, emphasising its significance for community engagement and access to the arts.
“Connecting theatre and our library service, is a new and exciting experience. We are proud to be involved in this partnership.” said Cr Hancock.
Dr. Lamb added, “This partnership connects literature and live performance in a way that inspires lifelong learning. Together with Monkey Baa, we’re introducing new audiences to the magic of theatre while reinforcing the importance of storytelling in literacy”.
We hope to continue collaborating with Your Library on workshops, removing barriers to attending performances, while also working together on funding opportunities and joint marketing initiatives.
Together, Monkey Baa and Your Library are championing literacy, creativity and community connection, ensuring that the art of storytelling continues to inspire, educate and engage audiences of all ages.
