Eva Di Cesare

Eva was born in Lilydale, Victoria. She first performed at the age of eight playing Mary in the school Christmas play. Fabrizio Ianelli played Joseph. Eva's costume was a brightly coloured tablecloth that she borrowed from her mum.

After her successful debut, Eva went on to learn the guitar and the banjo, performing in many concerts.

Her love of performing led Eva to enrol in the acting course at the Victorian College of the Arts in 1987. She graduated in 1989 and moved to Sydney where she has performed in many TV and theatre shows.

Some of Eva's TV credits include All Saints, A Country Practice, GP, and Police Rescue. Film credits include The Last Days of Chez Nous, Dallas Doll and Nessun Hoedown. Theatre credits include Twelfth Night, The Olive Tree, Italian Stories, Emma, The Suicide and Love and Magic in Mamma’s Kitchen.

Eva formed Monkey Baa with her two friends Tim and Sandie in 1997. She has adapted and performed in many productions for the company. Her favourites have been The Bugalugs Bum Thief, The Fairy's Wings, Worry Warts and Pearlie in the Park.

P.S Eva gave up the banjo at nine.
